Though we can’t have our traditional museum fundraiser this year we decided to do the next best thing and invite you to hear our tales from the Museum and the stories of others that share our love of Roberto Clemente. We also included three part wine tasting throughout our fundraiser video that you can take part in with the Party Box for Four. Please join us in honoring Clemente’s life and legacy as a world-class baseball player and dedicated humanitarian. As a non-profit organization, the Clemente Museum depends on the generosity of sponsors like you.

To contribute, choose one of the tiers below or a one time donation on behalf of yourself or company.

We also are auctioning off unique items in the weeks leading up to the fundraiser!

Fundraiser Party Box For Two

$250

Everything you need to accompany the online tasting and storytelling event, hosted by Executive Director of The Clemente Museum Duane Rieder and friends. Includes:

While this year has looked very different for our team, we were able to find ways for our museum to support the community with your generous support. The Clemente Museum has always aimed to both educate our community and guests on Clemente’s life and to continue his legacy of service. We continued our partnership with Tickets for Kids and Pittsburgh Hardball Academy and our tour guides presented in community centers, libraries and schools. This year we also created a traveling exhibit for the Sports Museum in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It was an honor to bring some of Roberto’s history back to Puerto Rico and share what we have built in Pittsburgh.

Everything changed in March when we had to close our doors to keep our community safe. Inspired by our city’s resiliency, the Museum focused on ways to honor Clemente’s spirit of giving. We are donating 21% of the profits from our limited run face mask to the Pittsburgh chapter of the Red Cross and have also designed two t-shirts that give back. Our “Make a Difference” shirt donates 10% of the profits to the Pittsburgh chapter of the NAACP, and our “Arriba!” shirt donates 10% of the profits to Operation EAT. We also used this time to create unique educational content for social media. Throughout quarantine, we shared the stories of key pieces in the museum and archives so everyone could enjoy the #museumfromhome.
