VISITING THE MUSEUM

The museum does not have walk-in hours but operates ticketed, guided tours and Open House tours only. If you are interested in visiting the museum for a guided tour or to view our Open House schedule, please purchase tickets through our Book a Tour link.

GUIDED TOURS

The Clemente Museum mainly offers docent led tours through our collection of memorabilia, photography, documents and ephemera. Guides will help to tell the story of one of sports greatest legends in addition to the history of Engine House 25 and the creation of the museum.

Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your designated tour time, the building will remain locked until then. Tours last approximately an hour and a half. If you have any needs or accommodations, please feel free to call or email us beforehand so we can be prepared for your visit.

OPEN HOUSE TOURS

Open House tours are offered throughout the Pirates season during home games and allow guests to view the museum and its contents at their own pace. Docents are on hand to help guide visitors, answer questions or give insight to specific pieces of memorabilia.

PRIVATE TOURS

If you are a party of 12 or more, you may request a private tour at your desired date and time by emailing info@clementemuseum.com. We schedule tours based on our docent’s availability and reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time. All private tours require a minimum of two weeks advance notice.

PARKING

Parking for the museum is free and located next to the building. Two accessible parking spaces are available at the front of the lot.

BAG POLICY

No bags are allowed during Guided Tours or Open Houses. Any bags must be left with an attendant or docent at the museum Gift Shop and can be collected after the tour has ended.

LOCATION

The Clemente Museum is located at 3339 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Please note that the museum is located in the Lawrenceville section of the city and is approximately 28 blocks from the Roberto Clemente Bridge on 6th Street in Downtown Pittsburgh.
